THE ONGOING EVIL DEMONISATION CAMPAIGN IN THE BRITISH MEDIA
Following the catastrophic events of the 7th July 2005 and their devastating
impact on the
British Public; culminating in the deaths of many people and widespread
horror, and the
shocking events of last Thursday 21st July 2005; The Party for Islamic
Renewal, PIR
(formerly the Committee for the Defence of Legitimate Rights, CDLR)
would like to state
the following:
Since the arrival of the Prof. Muhammad Al-Massari, the Secretary General
of the Party,
in Britain on the 18th April 1994 we have expressed our view openly
and honestly. We never
tried to deceive the British Public or hedge our position. We have
consistently refused to
be "politically correct": We said what we really believed. It was so,
it is now currently so
and will, God willing, remain so, even if the British authorities and/or
the general public
dislike it.
We said publicly right from the beginning:
(1)- Our struggle is against the Saudi tyranny. We strive to establish
Rule of Islamic Law
in Arabia which entails, by necessity:
(a)- an elected and accountable government. We absolutely reject any
hereditary
monarchy, even a constitutional monarchy or the likes;
(b)- legitimate rights of the individuals and organisations; and
(c)- independence of the judiciary.
(2)- Commitment to Islam and Shari'a law is absolute and not negotiable;
(3)- Removing the Saudi tyranny is but a first step to establish the
Khilafah which unifies the
Muslims, who are one Ummah, that is one nation, one alliance, having
one allegiance as dictated by
the Islamic creed;
(4)- The cancerous illegitimate
Zionist entity in Palestine, so-called
Israel, cannot be, and will
never be accepted. The sooner Muslim
Palestine is liberated, the
better it is for the innocent gullible
accupying Jews who have been
misguided by the Imperialist
and Zionist propaganda and lured
in a hopeless
life-threatening trap;
(5) The presence of the US and
British forces in Arabia is
absolutely un-acceptable, as
well as the criminal genocidal
sanctions against Iraq. We repeatedly
warned that these
together with the Palestinian
situation will lead to permanent
problems, clashes and wars.
During the events of desert Fox against Iraq in 1998-1999 time-frame
we warned that this
is perceived by Muslims as a war against Islam and Muslims. No amount
of
pseudo-intellectual acrobatic and skilled propaganda is going to change
this. Never the
less we also advised Muslims living in Britain as citizens, residents
or refugees about their
obligations under the Islamic Law. It is in essence that they are temporarily
excluded from
this struggle due to the existence of a specific covenant between every
individual and the
British government. This entails that they should keep the peace as
long as the British
government is keeping the peace to them individually and as a community
living in the
British realm.
Let us comment specifically on the current demonisation campaign.
We believe firmly in that what we state clearly in our postings: [PIR
(The Party for Islamic
Renewal) rejects intellectual terror, supports the freedom of thought
and believes in dialogue
based on argument and evidence. This mailing list strives to educate
the general public and
inform it about interesting news, issues worthy of reflection or even
points of view worthy of
condemnation and rejection. Therefore the content of the topics published
here should not be
regarded as representing PIR's point of view, neither in full nor in
part]. This is not hedging.
This is conviction and belief. Our own website features contributions
in which we, ourselves, are
accused of misguidance, criminal activities, heresy and departing Islam.

It is true that we have been visited by special branch after the infamous
"Black Watch"
video has been posted in our website. The officers expressed some concern
that some
member of the British Public may find such postings repugnant. We responded

we do not see any violation of the existing laws, so there should not
be any legal issues,
which is the most crucial and relevant point. More over other members
of the public may
find it useful and informative, albeit painful and shocking. People
could debate without
resolution about "taste" and "distaste" for all eternities. We even
suggested that the
families of the deceased could and should use it, the video, against
Blair's government,
which sent their kid into their demise. We requested them to inform
us officially and in
writing about any legal considerations. We assured them that we would:
(1)- either comply if sensible;
(2)- challenge it in courts if questionable,
(3)- or alternatively package our luggage and proceed to the airport departing the country.
We have granted BBC2 several lengthy interviews and interceded in their
behalf to meet important
personalities abroad. Deep and important topics were addressed in the
hope to give the British, and
the Western, public a balanced and alternative point of view.
BBC2, represented by the interviewing team, chose, unfortunately, to
break their words of
assurances for balance and objectivity and to violate their journalistic
code of honour. The
recent BBC2 series about the so-called "New Al-Qaida" is an unlucky
mixture of a bad
"James Bond" movie with a medieval witch-hunt. It may be only suitable
to fill the mind of
the average viewers with irrational fears and wrong concepts.
A few journalist sitting comfortably in air-conditioned buildings, barely
using the
"dangerous" underground or buses, rarely in crowded areas normally
targeted by
bombers, and never volunteering for the deadly battle field of Afghanistan
and Iraq, are
looking for personal fame and a reputation as "terrorism experts".
They are furthering their
carriers (oh, ye: tons of money is also to be made this way!) on a
pile of sculls: Sculls of
the British average man and women, soldiers abroad and civilian at
home, which is most
certainly going to pile higher and higher if these irrational and dangerous
policies are
pursued.
It is plainly clear for us, and hopefully soon for the British Public,
that Tony Blair, a proven
liar and war criminal, is trying desperately to cover his criminal
tracks. Besides being
persistently in denial of any "Iraqi connection" and his absurd and
laughable statements
about "evil ideologies" (remember the defunct axis of evil?!), besides
this, he is re-directing
all the public attention away from him and towards three or four so-called
"hate-preachers", "witch-doctors", "evil-ideologists", or what so ever,
who are dangerously
roaming the Realm of the Queen poisoning the minds of idiotic simple-minded
youth. Just
deport them and then Milk and Honey will flow and a "thousand years"
of peace and
happiness will ensue. As how stupid does Tony perceive the British
Public?!
More over he is moving swiftly to undermine the freedoms and civil liberties
of the British
Public and move the country back into the medieval spirit of the dreadful
"inquisition" (is
here some kind of Catholic nostalgia?!)
We have enjoyed the good hospitality and protection of the British Public
for over eleven
years. It is our Islamic duty as guests to intellectually recognise,
deeply appreciate and to
vocally express our thanks to our host: The British Public. We would
be betraying our trust
and violating our duty if we do not warn our host about a venomous
snake in his house
which we saw hiding behind the luxury furniture, but he may have not
seen yet.
