Flying with Pan American Airways May 1938 to June 1941

After one week in shop learning equipment and ground school learning procedures and flight school learning in flight communications and manual radio direction finding procedures, I was assigned as a Flight Radio Officer to make my first trip to Nassau Bahamas with a First Radio Officer to oversee my work which was satisfactory so I was scheduled to make my second trip to Havana the next day. Wow! I had arrived!
